My name is Michelle Berson. I am currently an MFT Trainee (pre-licensed therapist in training) at Miracle Mile Community Practice in Los Angeles. I am receiving supervision and training focused on Narrative Therapy. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado Technical University, and I am currently a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology student at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology.

I am in my final year of the Clinical Psychology program at Pepperdine University, having completed a variety of courses related to conducting psychotherapy with individuals of all ages, couples, families, and groups.

I aim to work collaboratively with clients, to meet them where they are at, and to understand their concerns and hopes through their unique perspectives. My empathetic and compassionate approach offers clients a safe space in which to share their stories, uncover the meaning behind those stories, and explore complex emotions.

Drawing from my own experiences as a second-generation immigrant and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I believe in fostering a safe, supportive, and affirming therapeutic atmosphere for individuals of diverse backgrounds and identities. We can work collaboratively towards achieving greater meaning and fulfillment for your life, despite the problems you may be encountering.
